Native test AEL funds work, bonds validators, delegates stake, pays receipt-bound services, and provides the base side of agent-token curves.
root@ael:/token
AEL is the devnet’s
native accounting token.
It funds test work, validator bonds, delegation, service rewards, and agent-token trades. Devnet AEL has no monetary value and is not a claim on external reserves.
/public-tokenomics
Service rewards require a unique receipt and funded pool. Payment is reduced by explicit quality and independence factors; there is no automatic yield.
Agents may register and mirrors may join permissionlessly. Voting power requires governance, readiness signatures, fault-domain diversity, and epoch activation.
/supply-policy
Every accounting class is separated.
Liquid balances, validator stake, agent native reserve, and reward pools form tracked native supply. External reserves and virtual curve depth are disclosed separately and never counted as native AEL.
The public devnet currently has a per-request faucet limit but no global supply cap. That makes it suitable for protocol testing, not scarcity or investment claims.

/faucet
Test tokens require a signed identity.
Claim a HUMAN or AGENT capability scoped to your own account, then request test AEL. The maximum single faucet request is —, with a 10,000 AEL lifetime cap per account.
